The main reason why most people jailbreak their iPod Touch, iPhone or iPad is to install cracked full apps. Be informed that with these type of apps, they may not work as expected and are not included in future upgrades from the App Store.
Anyway, since you’re probably reading this, you must want to know how to get these cracked apps into your jailbroken iPod.
There are two ways to put cracked apps on your jailbroken iPod Touch. One is directly from within your device using a Cydia App called Installous and one is via iTunes after downloading the app from a website.
Add the source
First, you need to download the necessary Cydia apps to do either of the two ways. These apps are not included in the default Cydia sources so you need to add the repository. Here are the steps to do it:
1. In Cydia, select Manage > Sources.
2. Click Edit > Add.
3. Enter the url http://cydia.hackulo.us then click Add Source.
4. Click Done.
Now you’ve added the source, you can now search for Installous and install it. When you run Installous, you will see how easy it is to use it. Browse the list or search for apps. Download the app and install it all within Installous.
This method is very convenient especially if you have no WiFi in your place. Head to a place with free WiFi and download to your heart’s content.
AppSync is a background app that you install from Cydia that allows you to put downloaded apps (.IPA files) into iTunes and sync to your device. Make sure you install the version for the firmware that you have (e.g. AppSync 4.1 for iOS 4.1).
You would want to go this route if you have an app that you wish to install in multiple devices. Or if somebody shared their downloaded apps to you and you want to put it into your iPod.
So where can you download cracked apps (.IPA files)? Head to http://Apptrackr.org.
There you have it. Enjoy free full apps on your jailbroken iPhone, iPod Touch or iPad.___________________________
