Group-buying sites or deal sites are popping up like crazy in the Philippines? Who can blame them? Filipinos are frugal by nature, always looking for the best deals, sales and discounts on everything. You can buy discounted services, products, vacation packages, gift certificates, food, activities and a whole lot more from these sites.
Buying is easy and there are lots of mode of payments available aside from credit cards such as PayPal, bank payment and mobile payment. Once you buy a deal, just print the e-voucher and present it to the establishment you’ll use it for. It’s that easy.
Here’s a rundown on all group-buying and deal sites available in the Philippines. Let me know if I miss something. I’ll keep this updated.
There’s a lot here to keep track of so you might want to check out these deal-aggregator sites to help you out.

- Read the FINE PRINT especially for restrictions. What good is one P200 laser hair removal treatment voucher if you need 10 sessions?
- If you want to be updated with deals, sign up for their newsletters or like them in Facebook.
- As much as possible don’t pay via ATM, debit cards or banks because it takes time to get a refund if the deal did not push through due to lack of buyers.
- A lot of these sites give you credits every time you refer a friend. You can use these credits to pay for the deals.
- Check out these deal-aggregator sites to help you keep track of deals without having to visit each site.
