Crumpler’s Rampaging Mob Backpack Review
How do you like having a backpack with a kickass name such as Rampaging Mob? That’s Crumpler and their wacky names for you.

The Rampaging Mob is a laptop travel backpack and the one we have is the “Large” size that can accommodate a 17-inch laptop. This should work well for LAN party gamers out there.

It’s light for a huge pack and has a water resistant outer material. It looks imposing in black (which is the only color it comes) with only the break in monotony being the reflective strip in front.

At first it looks like there are no compartments on the outside but on the left side, cleverly hidden by a flap, there’s a rather huge compartment to store whatever you need to access quickly.

On the right side there’s also a zippered compartment that you can open to access what’s inside. This can be handy at times but I sure wouldn’t want to wear this on my back when people can unzip the side zipper to access the main compartment.

Moving on. The zipper for the main compartment doesn’t go all the way at the base. On the inside you’ll see the laptop compartment with a velcro flap and behind that is a space for folders and papers. There are also two pockets available in front of the laptop compartment.

The shoulder harness is well padded and body contoured for comfort with safety reflective strips on each strap. The rear or the pack and the underside of the harness features Crumpler’s Air Mesh padding to keep air flowing between the pack and your back when worn over a period of time.

The Crumpler Rampaging Mob (L) backpack retails for Php7,450 and is available at the following Crumpler stores:
- Crumpler Bonifacio Highstreet
- Crumpler Trinoma
- Crumpler Megamall
- Crumpler Robinsons Ermita
If you want a backpack for you to carry your bulky gaming laptop, the Rampaging Mob is a good choice if you can muster the price tag. At least you will be getting what you paid for and that’s top-notch material for a pack that could last you a lifetime.
