Recently, we finally bought an LED TV which I’ve been eyeing for since last year. I didn’t know that it would render our ordinary Sky digibox useless.
For some reason, the picture from the digibox won’t display properly using its RCA input. I called Sky support and they told us that we should switch to their HD Digibox in order to continue getting cable, or Tia’s dose of Cinema One.
I asked them how much was the box and they said it’s Php3,000 non-refundable. Ouch. I asked if there was a promo and they said that if we subscribe to their HD Revolution package for an additional of Php299/month, we’ll get the box setup for free.
After a tiring first day, we slept at 7PM and set our alarm for 2:00AM. Tia decided not to continue but still urged me to go.
Ren said we should move by 2:30AM so we won’t get stuck behind slow climbers because most of the trials are narrow. It was going to be a 2.72km trek from Laban Rata to Lowe’s Peak.
2:00AM came and Tia and I woke up hearing the rain pouring outside. Depending on the weather condition, guides won’t let you summit if it’s raining because of poor visibility and the slippery surface.
Since we were on a tight budget for our Davao trip (didn’t do whitewater rafting anymore), we decided to just try out the restos Davao has to offer. What’s nice about Davao is that it’s not a big place so food tripping is really doable.
